Mānuka & Miso Butter Sauce
A luxurious, umami-packed butter sauce that combines the sweetness of Manuka honey with the rich, salty depth of miso. Perfect for drizzling over grilled vegetables, seafood, roasted meats, or even noodles.
Ingredients:

2 tbsp unsalted butter (softened) – Gives the sauce a creamy, smooth texture.

1 tbsp white miso paste – Adds a deep, umami flavor.

1 tbsp Manuka honey (UMF 15+ for depth) – Provides natural sweetness and complexity.

½ tsp rice vinegar – Balances the richness with a hint of acidity.

½ tsp soy sauce – Enhances the umami flavor.

1 clove garlic (grated) – Infuses a subtle, savory sharpness.

Pinch of chili flakes (optional) – Adds a mild heat for extra depth.
Instructions:

Soften the butter: Leave the butter at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes until it's soft and easy to mix.

Combine ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the softened butter, white miso paste, Manuka honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and grated garlic until smooth and fully blended.

Taste and adjust: If you prefer a stronger umami punch, add a touch more miso. For extra sweetness, increase the Manuka honey slightly.
